Fright palpitation

惊悸 〔驚悸〕jīng jì

Heart palpitation brought on by fright or heart palpitation associated with fear and susceptibility to fright. Fright palpitation is observed in heart-gallbladder qì vacuity, heart blood vacuity, yīn vacuity with effulgent fire, blood stasis, water-rheum, and phlegm-fire patterns.

Medicinal therapy:

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on HT and LR. Main points: HT-7 (Spirit Gate, 神门 shén mén), PC-6 (Inner Pass, 内关 nèi guān), BL-15 (Heart Transport, 心俞 xīn shù).
