Dual vacuity of kidney yīn and yáng
肾阴阳两虚 〔腎陰陽兩虛〕 shèn yīn yáng liáng xū
Insufficiency of both kidney yīn and kidney yáng, characterized by limb aching lumbus and knees and dizziness, together with signs of vacuity cold and vacuity heat such as physical cold and a sensation of internal heat. Other signs include lack of strength, tinnitus, dry throat and mouth, liking for warm drinks, long voidings of clear urine, menstrual irregularities, vaginal discharge, and infertility in women, and seminal emission, impotence, and sterility in men. The tonge is is enlarged and slightly red with a thin tongue fur. The pulse is fine and forceless, especially at the cubits.
