Yīn vacuity with yáng hyperactivity
阴虚阳亢 〔陰虛陽亢〕yīn xū yáng kàng

Yáng hyperactivity exacerbates depletion of fluid so that a vicious circle is set in motion. In some cases, there is insomnia, vexation, agitation, and irascibility, or seminal emission and excessive libido.
