Ingredients
- Tiān má (天麻 Gastrodiae Rhizoma, gastrodia [root]) 6–9g
- Shí jué míng (石决明 Haliotidis Concha, abalone shell) (predecocted) 9–15g
- Gōu téng (钩藤 Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis, uncaria [stem and thorn]) (add at end) 9–15g
- Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit]) 9–12g
- Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 9–12g
- Dù zhòng (杜仲 Eucommiae Cortex, eucommia [bark]) 9–12g
- Huái niú xī (怀牛膝 Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, achyranthes [root]) 9–12g
- Yì mǔ cǎo (益母草 Leonuri Herba, leonurus) 9–12g
- Sāng jì shēng (桑寄生 Taxilli Herba, mistletoe) 9–12g
- Shǒu wū téng (首乌藤 Polygoni Multiflori Caulis, flowery knotweed stem) 15–30g
- Fú shén (茯神 Poria cum Pini Radice , root poria) 9–12g
Actions: Calms the liver and extinguishes wind.
Indications: Liver yáng transforming into wind with dizziness, tinnitus, headache, lumbar pain, and insomnia. Tongue: Red. Pulse: Stringlike and rapid.
