Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on GV, HT, PC, LI, and GB. Select GV-20 (Hundred Convergences, 百会 bǎi huì), GV-26 (Water Trough, 水沟 shuǐ gōu), HT-7 (Spirit Gate, 神门 shén mén), LI-4 (Union Valley, 合谷 hé gǔ), PC-9 (Central Hub, 中冲 zhōng chōng), PC-3 (Marsh at the Bend, 曲泽 qū zé), BL-40 (Bend Center, 委中 wěi zhōng), GB-34 (Yang Mound Spring, 阳陵泉 yáng líng quán), and BL-57 (Mountain Support, 承山 chéng shān). For high fever, add LI-11 (Pool at the Bend, 曲池 qū chí), GV-14 (Great Hammer, 大椎 dà zhuī), and PC-8 (Palace of Toil, 劳宫 láo gōng), needling with drainage. Prick Ten Diffusing Points (十宣 shí xuān) to bleed.
