Fulminant flooding

暴崩 〔暴崩〕 bào bēng

Sudden bleeding via the vagina unassociated with menstruation. Fulminant flooding arises when sudden anger damages the liver or knocks or falls damage the thoroughfare (chōng) and controlling (rèn) vessels, and thus cause frenetic movement of the blood.

Medicinal therapy: Stanch bleeding with Ten Cinders Powder (十灰散 shí huī sǎn), as well as with Pure Ginseng Decoction (独参汤 dú shēn tāng). When the bleeding has subsided, treat according to pattern identification for flooding and spotting.
