Retracted genitals
阴缩 〔陰縮〕yīn suō
The drawing into the body of the anterior yīn (i.e., the genitals) in either males or females, including retracted testicles, scrotum, and penis in males. It is most commonly due to contraction of cold in the foot reverting yīn (jué yīn) liver channel, vacuity fall of original qì due to great vomiting and diarrhea, or to yáng brightness (yáng míng) heat entering the reverting yīn (jué yīn). Cold patterns are much more common than the heat patterns.
Patterns
Cold entering the reverting yīn (jué yīn) (寒入厥阴 hán rù jué yīn) is associated with cold pain and tension in the lesser abdomen. Other signs include fear of cold and cold limbs, and, in severe cases, green-blue lips and curled tongue, heavy body and body pains, long clear voidings of urine or possibly incontinence, and clear-grain diarrhea.

yáng brightness (yáng míng) heat evil entering the reverting yīn (jué yīn) (阳明热邪陷入厥阴 yáng míng rè xié rù jué yīn) is characterized by yáng brightness (yáng míng) heat signs including constipation.

Vacuity fall of original qì (元气下陷 yuán qì xià xiàn) patterns are characterized by counterflow cold of the limbs, black facial complexion, panting, cold sweating, and, in severe cases, loss of consciousness.
