Retracted genitals

阴缩 〔陰縮〕yīn suō

The drawing into the body of the anterior yīn (i.e., the genitals) in either males or females, including retracted testicles, scrotum, and penis in males. It is most commonly due to contraction of cold in the foot reverting yīn (jué yīn) liver channel, vacuity fall of original qì due to great vomiting and diarrhea, or to yáng brightness (yáng míng) heat entering the reverting yīn (jué yīn). Cold patterns are much more common than the heat patterns.

Patterns

Cold entering the reverting yīn (jué yīn) (寒入厥阴 hán rù jué yīn) is associated with cold pain and tension in the lesser abdomen. Other signs include fear of cold and cold limbs, and, in severe cases, green-blue lips and curled tongue, heavy body and body pains, long clear voidings of urine or possibly incontinence, and clear-grain diarrhea.
