Qì stagnation and blood stasis heart palpitation

气滞血瘀心悸 〔氣滯血瘀心悸〕 qì zhì xuè yū xīn jì

Heart palpitation attributed to qì stagnation and blood stasis and associated with shortness of breath and panting, oppression or pain in the chest, dark purple tongue, and a rough pulse.

Medicinal therapy: Quicken the blood and transform stasis with House of Blood Stasis-Expelling Decoction (血府逐瘀汤 xuè fǔ zhú yū tāng) and Peach Kernel and Carthamus Brew (桃仁红花煎 táo rén hóng huā jiān). Salvia Beverage (丹参饮 dān shēn yǐn). Nowadays, Coronary No.2 (冠心二号 guàn xīn èr hào) is used for coronary heart disease and angina pectoris and is suitable for heart palpitation from these conditions.

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on back transport points, CV, HT, PC, LR, and SP. Select BL-15 (Heart Transport, 心俞 xīn shù), HT-7 (Spirit Gate, 神门 shén mén), PC-6 (Inner Pass, 内关 nèi guān), CV-17 (Chest Center, 膻中 shān zhōng), BL-17 (Diaphragm Transport, 膈俞 gé shù), SP-10 (Sea of Blood, 血海 xuè hǎi), LI-4 (Union Valley, 合谷 hé gǔ), and LR-3 (Supreme Surge, 太冲 tài chōng); needle with even supplementation and drainage.
