Cold repletion chest bind

寒实结胸 〔寒實結胸〕hán shí jié xiōng

A chest bind pattern marked by painful hardness and distension in the stomach duct without generalized heat and without thirst, associated with a sunken tight or slow sunken pulse.

Medicinal therapy: Dispel cold and open binds with Three Agents White Powder (三物白散 sān wù bái sǎn). For patients with a vacuity constitution in whom the signs are not pronounced, Unripe Bitter Orange Center-Rectifying Pill (枳实理中丸 zhǐ shí lǐ zhōng wán) can be used.

Acumoxatherapy: Select PC-6 (Inner Pass, 内关 nèi guān), CV-12 (Center Stomach Duct, 中脘 zhōng wǎn), ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ), and SP-4 (Yellow Emperor, 公孙 gōng sūn); needle with drainage and moxa.
