Throughflux diarrhea

洞泻 〔洞瀉〕dòng xiè

1. Diarrhea after eating, with nontransformation of grain and water.

Medicinal therapy: Warm the center with formulas such as Aconite Pill (附子丸 fù zǐ wán) containing aconite (Aconiti Radix Lateralis Praeparata, 附子 fù zǐ), mume (Mume Fructus, 乌梅 wū méi), dried ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma, 干姜 gān jiāng), and coptis (Coptidis Rhizoma, 黄连 huáng lián).

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on CV, ST, and back transport points. Select CV-12 (Center Stomach Duct, 中脘 zhōng wǎn), LR-13 (Camphorwood Gate, 章门 zhāng mén), ST-25 (Celestial Pivot, 天枢 tiān shū), ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ), BL-23 (Kidney Transport, 肾俞 shèn shù), CV-4 (Pass Head, 关元 guān yuán), CV-9 (Water Divide, 水分 shuǐ fēn), and CV-6 (Sea of Qì, 气海 qì hǎi). Needle with supplementation and use large amounts of moxa.

2. Soggy diarrhea.

3. Spleen diarrhea.

Chindòng, hole, cave; pass through; 泻 xiè, drain.
