Spleen diarrhea

脾泻 〔脾瀉〕pí xiè

Also throughflux diarrhea. Diarrhea due to spleen disease; associated with distension and fullness or abdominal discomfort, vomiting, heavy limbs, and vacuity yellow facial complexion.

Medicinal therapy: Fortify the spleen and regulate the center with the Center-Fortifying Decoctions (建中汤 jiàn zhōng tāng) or variations of Center-Rectifying Decoction (理中汤 lǐ zhōng tāng).

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on back transport points, CV, PC, and ST. Select BL-20 (Spleen Transport, 脾俞 pí shù), CV-6 (Sea of Qì, 气海 qì hǎi), PC-6 (Inner Pass, 内关 nèi guān), CV-12 (Center Stomach Duct, 中脘 zhōng wǎn), LR-13 (Camphorwood Gate, 章门 zhāng mén), ST-25 (Celestial Pivot, 天枢 tiān shū), and ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ); needle with supplementation and add moxa.
