Spleen disease
脾病 〔脾病〕pí bìng
Any morbidity of the spleen. The spleen governs movement and transformation of grain and water (i.e., food)and is the source qì and blood formation; hence spleen disease, whatever form it takes, is a failure of these functions. Spleen disease is attributable to damage by dietary irregularities, affect damage, and dampness. See spleen pattern identification.
