Qì vacuity dizziness

气虚眩晕 〔氣虛眩暈〕qì xū xuàn yūn

Dizziness attributed to qì vacuity and yáng debilitation preventing normal upbearing of clear yáng. Qì vacuity dizziness also includes yáng vacuity dizziness. When caused by spleen qì vacuity, dizziness and flowery vision brought on by taxation are associated with lassitude of spirit and lack of strength, reduced food intake and sloppy stool, and a vacuous pulse.

Medicinal therapy: Boost qì and fortify the spleen using Four Gentlemen Panting Decoction (喘四君子汤 chuǎn sì jūn zǐ tāng) or Center-Supplementing Qì-Boosting Decoction (补中益气汤 bǔ zhōng yì qì tāng).

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on GV, CV, ST, and back transport points. Select GV-20 (Hundred Convergences, 百会 bǎi huì), ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ), CV-12 (Center Stomach Duct, 中脘 zhōng wǎn), CV-6 (Sea of Qì, 气海 qì hǎi), BL-20 (Spleen Transport, 脾俞 pí shù), BL-21 (Stomach Transport, 胃俞 wèi shù), and ST-8 (Head Corner, 头维 tóu wéi); needle with supplementation and add moxa.
