Modified Ten-Ingredients Gallbladder-Warming Decoction
变通十味温胆汤 〔變通十味溫膽湯〕 biàn tōng shí wèi wēn dǎn tāng

Ingredients
- Jú luò (橘络 Citri Reticulatae Fructus Fasciculus Vascularis, tangerine pith) 15g
- Fú shén (茯神 Poria cum Pini Radice , root poria) 12g
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 12g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 3g
- Zhǐ shí (枳实 Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, unripe bitter orange) 6g
- Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 15g
- Yuǎn zhì (远志 Polygalae Radix, polygala [root]) 6g
- Suān zǎo rén (酸枣仁 Ziziphi Spinosi Semen, spiny jujube [kernel]) 15g
- Shí chāng pú (石菖蒲 Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma, acorus [root]) 6g
- Zhú lì (竹沥 Bambusae Succus, bamboo sap) (take drenched) 3 spoonfuls
Indications: Mental disease characterized by sudden bouts of sorrow and joy, abnormal laughing and weeping, fright palpitation and insomnia, and feeble-mindedness.
Method: Decoct with water.
