Eleven-Ingredient Gallbladder-Warming Decoction
十一味温胆汤 〔十一味溫膽湯〕 shí yī wèi wēn dǎn tāng

Ingredients
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 9g
- Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 9g
- Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 15g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 6g
- Zhǐ shí (枳实 Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, unripe bitter orange) 6g
- Zhú rú (竹茹 Bambusae Caulis in Taenia, bamboo shavings) 12g
- Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 6g
- Yuǎn zhì (远志 Polygalae Radix, polygala [root]) 6g
- Shí chāng pú (石菖蒲 Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma, acorus [root]) 9g
- Shǒu wū téng (首乌藤 Polygoni Multiflori Caulis, flowery knotweed stem) 30g
- Zhēn zhū mǔ (珍珠母 Concha Margaritifera , mother-of-pearl) 30g
Actions: Clears heat and transforms phlegm; harmonizes the stomach and quiets the spirit.
Indications: Insomnia, dizziness, fright palpitation, oppression in the chest from stomach disharmony. Tongue fur: Slimy. Pulse: Slippery and rapid.
Method: Decoct with water.
