Ingredients

• Cāng zhú (苍朮 Atractylodis Rhizoma, atractylodes [rhizome])
• Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark)
• Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome])
• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel)
• Shén qū (神曲 Massa Medicata Fermentata , medicated leaven)
• Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit])
• Zhǐ ké (qiào) (枳壳 Aurantii Fructus, bitter orange)
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried)
• Xiāng fù (香附 Cyperi Rhizoma, cyperus [rhizome])
• Shā rén (砂仁 Amomi Fructus, amomum [fruit])

Indications: Depressed food characterized by bloating of the stomach duct and abdomen, belching of sour putrid qì (gas), inability to eat, abnormal stool. Pulse: Usually slippery and tight.

Method: Abducts and disperses; disinhibits the center.
