嗳气 〔噯氣〕ài qì

Also eructation. Expulsion of gas (qì) from the stomach that occurs after eating to satiation or eating too quickly, and in stomach diseases. It is one manifestation of stomach qì ascending counterflow.

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on ST and CV. Select CV-6 (Sea of Qì, 气海 qì hǎi), PC-6 (Inner Pass, 内关 nèi guān), ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ), CV-12 (Center Stomach Duct, 中脘 zhōng wǎn), and BL-21 (Stomach Transport, 胃俞 wèi shù); needle with even supplementation and drainage, add moxa if appropriate.
