Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (4.5–9g).

Product description: This product comes in stringy strips bound in balls. The strips are about 5–7 mm wide and are light brown with a greenish hue. They are fibrous and rough to the touch, but smooth when felt along the grain. They are stringy and tough, and do not break easily. The decocting pieces are fine shavings bound in balls.

Quality: The best quality is dry, light in color, finely shaved, supple and strong.

Production area: Hénán, Guǎngdōng, Sìchuān, Jiāngsū, Zhèjiāng, Héběi, ānhuī, Húběi.
