Ingredients

• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 9g
• Zhú rú (竹茹 Bambusae Caulis in Taenia, bamboo shavings) 9g
• Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 6g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried) 3g
• Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger) 6g
• Dà zǎo (大枣 Jujubae Fructus, jujube) 6g
• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 9g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 9g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 15g
• Pí pá yè (枇杷叶 Eriobotryae Folium, loquat leaf) 6g

Indications: jupizhurutangpatterns with qì and yīn vacuity, characterized by thirst, reduced eating, patchily peeling tongue fur.

Method: Decoct with water.

Notes: This is jupizhurutang with the addition of Bàn xià, Fú líng, miadong, and Pí pá yè.
