Yáng vacuity spontaneous sweating
阳虚自汗 〔陽虛自汗〕yáng xū zì hàn
Spontaneous sweating that arises in yáng vacuity when the exterior becomes loose and the interstices become unsound, allowing sweat to be easily discharged. Accompanying signs include fear of cold, sweating associated with sensations of cold, fatigue, and a fine pulse.
Medicinal therapy: Warm yáng and secure the exterior. Use
Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on LU, CV, ST, LI, HT, and SI. Select LI-4 (Union Valley, 合谷 hé gǔ), HT-6 (Yīn Cleft, 阴郄 yīn xī), SI-3 (Back Ravine, 后溪 hòu xī), GV-20 (Hundred Convergences, 百会 bǎi huì), LU-9 (Great Abyss, 太渊 tài yuān), LI-4 (Union Valley, 合谷 hé gǔ), CV-6 (Sea of Qì, 气海 qì hǎi), and ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ); needle with supplementation and add moxa.
