大结胸 〔大結胸〕dà jié xiōng
Also phlegm-heat chest bind. A disease pattern arising when inappropriate application of precipitation of an unresolved exterior pattern in greater yáng (tài yáng) disease causes the heat evil to fall inward and combine with phlegm and water. Major chest bind is characterized by fullness, hardness and pain in the chest, stomach duct, and umbilical region that is too tender to be touched.
