Ingredients

• Gōu téng (钩藤 Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis, uncaria [stem and thorn]) 3g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 3g
• Fú shén (茯神 Poria cum Pini Radice , root poria) 3g
• Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 3g
• Sāng jì shēng (桑寄生 Taxilli Herba, mistletoe) 3g
• Jié gěng (桔梗 Platycodonis Radix, platycodon [root]) 4.5g

Actions: Extinguishes wind and quiets the fetus.

Indications: Epilepsy of pregnancy (corresponding to what biomedicine calls eclampsia) with jerking of the limbs, stirring fetus, and abdominal pain.

Method: Decoct with water.
