Ingredients:
- Gōu téng (钩藤 Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis, uncaria [stem and thorn]) 3g
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 3g
- Mài mén dōng (麦门冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 3g
- Rén shēn (人参 Ginseng Radix, ginseng) 2g
- Jú huā (菊花 Chrysanthemi Flos, chrysanthemum [flower]) 2g
- Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia) 2g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 1g
- Shí gāo (石膏 Gypsum Fibrosum, gypsum) 5g
- Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 3g
- Jú pí (橘皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 3g
- Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 2g
Action:
Indication: Liver reversal with dizziness.

Rationale: Rén shēn supplements qì while Mài dōng enriches yīn. These to agents counterbalance each other. Jú huā and Fáng fēng dispel wind. Gōu téng clears heat and calms the liver. Modern research shows that it is effective in reducing high blood pressure, which biomedicine sees as the cause of liver reversal. Chén pí rectifies qì as well as drying dampness and transforming phlegm. Bàn xià downbears counterflow, while Fú líng percolates dampness and disinhibits water. Shí gāo clears floating heat.
