Running Piglet Pill
奔豚丸 〔奔豚丸〕 bēn tūn wán

Ingredients
- Chuān liàn zǐ (川楝子 Toosendan Fructus, toosendan [fruit]) 30g
- Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 45g
- Jú hé (橘核 Citri Reticulatae Semen, tangerine seed) 45g
- Lì zhī hé (荔枝核 Litchi Semen, lychee pit) 24g
- Xiǎo huí xiāng (小茴香 Foeniculi Fructus, fennel [fruit]) 21g
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 21g
Actions: Disperses cold, downbears qì, warms yáng, and rectifies qì.
Indications: Running piglet due to lower burner cold affecting the liver and manifesting in palpitation around the umbilicus and counterflow upsurge of qì from the abdomen to the sternum. Accompanying signs include cold limbs and body. Tongue fur: White and slimy. Pulse: Stringlike and tight.
Method: Boil ingredients with sugar and form into pills.
Dosage: 6g at a time with salted water.
