Use: Medicinal

Category: Qì-rectifying agents

Properties: Bitter; balanced.

Channel entry: Liver channel.

Indications:

Rectifies qì, disperses binds, and relieves pain. It is mostly used for breast lumps, mounting qì (shàn qì) pain, and painful swollen testicles.

Dosage & Method: Oral: 3–10g.

Quality: Plump white evenly sized seeds are the best.

Product Area: Mainly produced in Fújiàn, Zhèjiāng, Jiāngxī, and Sìchuān.
