Fritillaria Decoction
贝母汤 〔貝母湯〕 bèi mǔ tāng

Ingredients
- Zhè bèi mǔ (浙贝母 Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus, Zhèjiāng fritillaria [bulb]) 2g
- Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 2.5g
- Wǔ wèi zǐ (五味子 Schisandrae Fructus, schisandra [berry]) 2.5g
- Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 0.5g
- Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 2.5g
- Sāng bái pí (桑白皮 Mori Cortex, mulberry bark) 2.5g
- Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 3g
- Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome]) 1g
- Guì zhī (桂枝 Cinnamomi Ramulus, cinnamon twig) 2g
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 1g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 1g
- Xìng rén (杏仁 Armeniacae Semen, apricot kernel) 2g
Indications: All persistent coughs.
Method: Decoct with water.
