These four sovereign agents combined expel cold and phlegm, as well as transforming stasis and dispersing swelling. Dì lóng combined with Cǎo wū dispels phlegm and frees the network vessels, tracks down wind and frees yáng. Charred ink combined with Shè xiāng transforms turbidity.
