Lesser Abdomen Stasis-Expelling Decoction
少腹逐瘀汤 〔少腹逐瘀湯〕shào fù zhú yū tāng

Ingredients:
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 6–9g
- Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root]) 6–9g
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 3–6g
- Pú huáng (蒲黄 Typhae Pollen, typha pollen) 6–9g
- Wǔ líng zhī (五灵脂 Trogopteri Faeces, squirrel's droppings) 3–6g
- Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 3–6g
- Ròu guì (肉桂 Cinnamomi Cortex, cinnamon bark) 3–6g
- Xiǎo huí xiāng (小茴香 Foeniculi Fructus, fennel [fruit]) 3–6g
- Mò yào (没药 Myrrha , myrrh) 3–6g
- Yán hú suǒ (延胡索 Corydalis Rhizoma, corydalis [rhizome]) 3–6g
Action: Quickens the blood and dispels stasis; warms the channels and relieves pain.
Indication: Static blood and congealing cold causing accumulation lumps in the lesser abdomen with or without distension, fullness, and pain in the lower abdomen, menstrual irregularities with blackish purple menstrual discharge and clots, or flooding and spotting with lesser abdominal pain.
