Wondrous Response True-Nourishing Elixir()
神应养真丹 〔神應養真丹〕 shén yìng yǎng zhēn dān

Ingredients
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) (steeped in wine)
- Tiān má (天麻 Gastrodiae Rhizoma, gastrodia [root])
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome])
- Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root])
- Xiān máo (仙茅 Curculiginis Rhizoma, curculigo [root])
- Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root])
Indications: The four qì invading the liver viscus with hemiplegia, numbness and tingling of the extremities, sluggish speech, drool causing blockage and clouding, dizziness, clenched jaw, panting and spontaneous sweating, abstraction of the heart spirit, generalized pain. It also postpartum wind stroke and arched-back rigidity, as well as internal static blood from knocks and falls.
Method: Ingredients in equal proportions. Grind to a powder, blend with condensed honey, and form into pills the size of an egg yolk.
