- Ròu dòu kòu (肉豆蔻 Myristicae Semen, nutmeg) 9–12g
- Hē zǐ (诃子 Chebulae Fructus, chebule) 9–12g
- Bái sháo (白芍 Paeoniae Radix Alba, white peony [root]) 9–12g
- Yīng sù ké (qiào) (罂粟壳 Papaveris Pericarpium, poppy husk) 6–9g
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 6–9g
- Ròu guì (肉桂 Cinnamomi Cortex, cinnamon bark) 3–5g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 3–6g
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 3–6g
