Source: Xiǎo ér Yào Zhèng Zhí Jué 小儿药证直诀

Ingredients

• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel)
• Qīng pí (青皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, unripe tangerine peel)
• Dīng xiāng (丁香 Caryophylli Flos, clove)
• Hē zǐ (诃子 Chebulae Fructus, chebule)
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]). 与2022是否重复

Actions: Regulates qì and harmonizes the stomach; warms the center and checks diarrhea.

Indications: Spleen-stomach disharmony in children with thin body and enlarged abdomen, vomiting and diarrhea.

Notes: Transforming Yellow in the formula name means warming the stomach and spleen (yellow being associated with these organs in the five phases). Cf, Yì huáng sǎn (益黄散 Transforming Yellow Powder).
