• Sāng yè (桑叶 Mori Folium, mulberry leaf)
• Lián qiào (连翘 Forsythiae Fructus, forsythia [fruit])
• Má huáng (麻黄 Ephedrae Herba, ephedra)

Action:

Indication: Exuberant toxin heat with papules failing to erupt, generalized heat effusion, cough, vexation and agitation, and thirst.

Method: Blend with flour paste into pills.

Dosage: 6g twice a day with a decoction of fresh phragmites or warm water.
