Indications:
Properties, actions, and indications are similar to those of dàn zhú yè (Lophatheri Herba). Zhú yè is better at clearing heart and stomach fire, while dàn zhú yè is better at disinhibiting urine. Dàn zhú yè did not come into use until the Míng dynasty. Before the Míng, zhú yè was the item used and it was also referred to as dàn zhú yè.
