Ingredients
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) (washed in wine)
- Tiān má (天麻 Gastrodiae Rhizoma, gastrodia [root])
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome])
- Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root])
- Xiān máo (仙茅 Curculiginis Rhizoma, curculigo [root])
- Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root])
Indications: Four qì invading the liver causing hemiplegia, numbness and tingling of the extremities, sluggish speech, drooling and clouded spirit; dizzy head and vision, clenched jaw, panting, spontaneous sweating, abstraction, generalized pain. Also treats postpartum wind stroke, arched-back rigidity and knocks and falls with internal static blood.
Method: All ingredients in equal proportions. Grind to a powder. Blend with condensed honey and form into pills. Take one pill at a time with wine in which
