Source: Shì Yī Dé Xiào Fāng 世医得效方

Ingredients:

• Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root])
• Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia)
• Bò hé (薄荷 Menthae Herba, mint)
• Chuān wū (川乌 Aconiti Radix, aconite main root)
• Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) (processed)
• Jīng jiè suì (荆芥穗 Schizonepetae Flos, schizonepeta spike).

Action:

Indication: Insufferable itching of the eyes.

Method: Ingredients in equal proportions.

Dosage: 6g taken with a decoction of bohe after meals. (Zì 字 is an old unit of weight equal to the amount that could be placed any of the four characters appearing on a copper coin.???)
