Chaenomeles and Achyranthes Pill
木瓜牛膝丸 〔木瓜牛膝丸〕 mù guā niú xī wán

Ingredients
- Mù guā (木瓜 Chaenomelis Fructus, chaenomeles [fruit])
- Chuān wū (川乌 Aconiti Radix, aconite main root)
- Huái niú xī (怀牛膝 Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, achyranthes [root])
- Bì xiè (萆薢 Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae seu Semptemlobae Rhizoma, fish poison yam)
- Xiǎo huí xiāng (小茴香 Foeniculi Fructus, fennel [fruit])
- Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root])
- Qīng pí (青皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, unripe tangerine peel)
- Qīng yán (青盐 Halitum , halite)
- Gǒu jǐ (狗脊 Cibotii Rhizoma, cibotium [root])
- Bā jǐ tiān (巴戟天 Morindae Officinalis Radix, morinda [root])
- Hǎi tóng pí (海桐皮 Erythrinae Cortex, erythrina [bark])
Actions: Warms the channels and eliminates dampness; quickens the blood, frees the network vessels, and soothes the sinews.
Indications: Cold-damp leg qì (jiǎo qì), characterized by limpness of the legs and knees, lack of strength for movement, numbness and swelling, and in some cases pain and hypertonicity or aversion to cold.
