- Dú huó (独活 Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, pubescent angelica) 1.2 kg
- Wǔ jiā pí (五加皮 Acanthopanacis Cortex, acanthopanax [root bark]) 1.2 kg

Actions: Dispels
Indications: Wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain in the sinew and bone with inhibited movement of the joints and limp aching lumbus and knees.
Method: The liquor should be a strong clear Chinese wine, with 50% alcohol by volume.
Dosage: 10–20 ml 2–3 times a day.
Rationale: Mù guā, Qiāng huó, Dú huó, Wǔ jiā pí, and Qín jiāo dispel wind-damp. Dāng guī, Hóng huā, Niú xī, and clear liquor quicken the blood. Mù guā,
