Medicinal therapy: Use medicinals such as Chinese lovage (Ligustici Rhizoma, 藁本 gǎo běn), chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 川芎 chuān xiōng), notopterygium (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, 羌活 qiāng huó), and pubescent angelica (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, 独活 dú huó).

Acumoxatherapy: Select GV-20 (Hundred Convergences, 百会 bǎi huì), Alert Spirit Quartet (四神聪 sì shén cōng), GV-21 (Before the Vertex, 前顶 qián dǐng), GB-19 (Brain Hollow, 脑空 nǎo kōng), GV-23 (Upper Star, 上星 shàng xīng), KI-1 (Gushing Spring, 湧泉 yǒng quán), LI-4 (Union Valley, 合谷 hé gǔ), and LR-3 (Supreme Surge, 太冲 tài chōng); needle with drainage.
