Indications:
- Effuses the exterior and disperses cold; relieves pain: Headache, in particular acute vertex headache, headache with pain stretching into the teeth, and hemilateral headache due to external contraction of wind-cold.
- Dispels wind-damp and relieves pain: Wind-cold; damp impediment with joint pain.
Dosage & Method: Oral: 3–10g in decoctions.
Warnings: Contraindicated in blood vacuity headache and heat patterns.
Quality: The best quality is yellow in color, with a hollow core and has a clean shiny appearance.
Product Area: Liáoníng, Shānxī, Shǎnxī (Shaanxi), Húběi, and Sìchuān.
