Spleen vacuity amenorrhea
脾虚经闭 〔脾虛經閉〕 pí xū jīng bì
Amenorrhea arising when damage to the spleen and stomach and reduced appetite causes insufficiency of the source and qì and blood formation so that there is no blood to reach the thoroughfare and controlling vessels. Spleen vacuity amenorrhea is often associated with poor appetite, glomus and fullness, and unsolid stool.
Medicinal therapy: Supplement the spleen and stomach; nourish qì and blood. Use
Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on the back transport points, CV, SP, and ST. Select BL-20 (Spleen Transport, 脾俞 pí shù), BL-23 (Kidney Transport, 肾俞 shèn shù), BL-17 (Diaphragm Transport, 膈俞 gé shù), CV-12 (Center Stomach Duct, 中脘 zhōng wǎn), SP-6 (Three Yīn Intersection, 三阴交 sān yīn jiāo), SP-10 (Sea of Blood, 血海 xuè hǎi), CV-4 (Pass Head, 关元 guān yuán), and ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ); needle with supplementation and add moxa.
