A method of treatment used to address qì vacuity stomach problems characterized by glomus and oppression in the chest and stomach duct, no thought of food and drink, and, in severe cases, vomiting of food after ingestion.

Medicinal therapy: A commonly used qì-boosting stomach-harmonizing formula is Costusroot and Amomum Six Gentlemen Decoction (香砂六君子汤 xiāng shā liù jūn zǐ tāng).

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on ST, CV, and back transport points. Select BL-20 (Spleen Transport, 脾俞 pí shù), BL-21 (Stomach Transport, 胃俞 wèi shù), CV-6 (Sea of Qì, 气海 qì hǎi), ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ), ST-25 (Celestial Pivot, 天枢 tiān shū), and PC-6 (Inner Pass, 内关 nèi guān), needle with supplementation and large amounts of moxa.
