Habitual miscarriage

滑胎 〔滑胎〕huá tāi

Miscarriage successively occurring three times or more. Habitual miscarriage is attributable to qì vacuity, kidney vacuity, blood heat, blood vacuity, or external injury.

Medicinal therapy: Treat with pills of ground eucommia (Eucommiae Cortex, 杜仲 dù zhòng), dipsacus (Dipsaci Radix, 续断 xù duàn), dioscorea (Dioscoreae Rhizoma, 山药 shān yào), and glutinous rice (Oryzae Glutinosae Semen, 糯米 nuò mǐ) blended with jujube paste (Ziziphi Fructus Pasta, 枣泥 zǎo ní). This formula can be taken as soon as pregnancy is suspectedand may be discontinued when the danger period is over.
