Blood heat habitual miscarriage

血热滑胎 〔血熱滑胎〕xuè rè huá tāi

Habitual miscarriage due to blood heat lying latent in the thoroughfare (chōng) and controlling (rèn) vessels, causing frenetic movement of the blood that damages the fetal origin. The patient experiences smaller abdominal pain, heart vexation, thirst, and desire for cool drinks. Bleeding from the vagina portends stirring fetus and impending miscarriage.

Medicinal therapy: Clear heat and quiet the fetus with Yīn-Safeguarding Brew (保阴煎 bǎo yīn jiān).
