Blood vacuity habitual miscarriage

血虚滑胎 〔血虛滑胎〕xuè xū huá tāi

Habitual miscarriage due to blood vacuity. Signs include lassitude of spirit and lack of strength, pale yellow facial complexion, water swelling, aching lumbus, and abdominal pain. Blood vacuity habitual miscarriage occurs when blood vacuity is exacerbated by pregnancy. Miscarriage is heralded by bleeding.

Medicinal therapy: Supplement the blood and boost qì with Fetal Origin Beverage (胎元饮 tāi yuán yǐn), adding ass hide glue (Asini Corii Colla, 阿胶 ē jiāo) and charred mugwort (Artemisiae Argyi Folium Carbonisatum, 艾叶炭 ài yè tàn) if there is bleeding.
