Kidney vacuity habitual miscarriage

肾虚滑胎 〔腎虛滑胎〕shèn xū huá tāi

Habitual miscarriage due to kidney vacuity. Kidney vacuity habitual miscarriage is accompanied by aching lumbus, sagging in the smaller abdomen, dizzy head and tinnitus, limp aching knees, and in some cases vaginal bleeding.

Medicinal therapy: Supplement the kidney and quiet the fetus using Fetal Longevity Pill (寿胎丸 shòu tāi wán), to which charred mugwort (Artemisiae Argyi Folium Carbonisatum, 艾叶炭 ài yè tàn) and charred eucommia (Eucommiae Cortex Carbonisatus, 杜仲炭 dù zhòng tàn) may be added for pronounced bleeding.

Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on CV and KI. Select BL-23 (Kidney Transport, 肾俞 shèn shù), KI-3 (Great Ravine, 太溪 tài xī), CV-4 (Pass Head, 关元 guān yuán), CV-3 (Central Pole, 中极 zhōng jí), KI-12 (Great Manifestation, 大赫 dà hè), and KI-13 (Qì Point, 气穴 qì xué); moxa every point 15–20 minutes twice a day.
