A commonly used yīn-enriching exterior-resolving formula is Solomon’s Seal Variant Decoction (加减葳蕤汤 jiā jiǎn wēi ruí tāng).

Acumoxatherapy: Use the points given under resolving the exterior and add KI-3 (Great Ravine, 太溪 tài xī) and KI-6 (Shining Sea, 照海 zhào hǎi), to enrich yīn.
