Use: Medicinal

Properties: Acrid; warm; highly toxic.

Actions and indications: Used orally to induce vomiting and dispel stasis; applied topically to stanch bleeding, relieve pain, and free the orifices. Treats injury from knocks and falls; nasal congestion; nervous toothache; bleeding from external injury.

Dosage and method: Oral: Not more than 0.6g of the raw agent.

Warnings: Do not drink liquor after taking this agent.
