Actions and indications: Clears heat and cools the blood; resolves toxin and disinhibits urine. Treats high fever and clouded spirit in encephalitis; infectious hepatitis; red and white dysentery; heat strangury; bloody urine.

Notes: Similar to yardgrass (牛筋草 niú jīn cǎo) in action.
