Actions and indications: Nourishes yīn, clears the lung, disperses stasis, stanches bleeding, and settles pain. Treats vexation and thirst in febrile disease; yīn vacuity cough; consumption damage; vomiting of blood (blood ejection); nosebleed; sore throat; rheumatic arthritis; child fright wind; injury from knocks and falls.
