Properties: Bitter; cold.

Actions and indications: Dispel wind, resolves epidemic toxin, and disperses swelling and distension. Treats headache and dizziness due to common cold; aversion to cold and heat effusion; agitation and thirst; water swelling; lumbar pain.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g). Topical: Apply crushed.
